Two members of our church are going on A SPONSORED WALKING PILGRIMAGE to The Shrine of St. James The Great (the third most important Christian Pilgrimage to make after The Holy Land and Rome) at Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain in late August - September. It’s 500 miles!

It is in aid of St. Alban's 'Sticks and Vests' Fund.

An ‘eye-catching’, mounted Reproduction of The Pilgrimage Route (El Camino): The Way has been installed on The Organ Case, adjacent to St. Alban's Pilgrimage Window above The Font, at the West End of Church with figures of The St. Alban's intrepid Pilgrims that we can move along the road and thus keep track of their progress.

Please ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT OUR TWO PILGRIMS by sponsoring them. Your Generosity would be much appreciated. A SPONSORSHIP SHEET is available on The Tract Stall at the back of Church.

as recorded on Our Pilgrimage Window
    (Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, The Prologue).
